Dear colleagues! The third issue of the 2024 of the "Vestnik Roszdravnadzora" journal has been published. The issue opens with the first article in a series on improving mechanisms aimed at accelerating import substitution and achieving technological sovereignty, which will contribute to our country's independence in all sectors of the real economy. This article explores solutions to healthcare system challenges related to drug supply. One such solution is a long-term contract with reciprocal investment commitments. Implementing this type of contract can significantly reduce the share of imported goods in domestic consumption and increase the country's gross domestic product. It also ensures the further development of necessary infrastructure, including in the pharmaceutical industry, thereby ensuring the stability and availability of essential goods, services, and labor.
